The Productivity Board is committed to excellence in public service by demonstrating leadership. The Employee Suggestion Program and Teamwork Incentive Program encourage public employees to create, innovate, and apply first-rate ideas.

The Washington State Legislature created the Productivity Board to improve public service and increase efficiency. The Productivity Board members include representatives of state agencies, higher education, private businesses and organized labor.

The Board administers the Employee Suggestion Program and the Teamwork Incentive Program. Both may offer cash incentives to state employees who suggest money-saving improvements.
